Dipl. Arzt Silvan Marcel Locher 

Pract. med. Silvan Locher has been working at the AMC Eye Clinic at the airport since 2022 and at the AMC Eye Clinic at the Bülach hospital campus since 2025. He is a specialist in ophthalmology with extensive clinical experience in ophthalmology. He completed his medical studies at the University of Zurich.

He completed his specialist training in Switzerland at the Eye Clinic of Lucerne Cantonal Hospital under Prof. Dr. med. Michael Thiel, at the Eye Clinic of the University Hospital Zurich - with Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Barthelmes, at the Eye Clinic Herisau - with PD Dr. med. Florian Sutter and at the AMC Eye Clinic - with Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Mojon.

In 2022, he worked as a senior physician in the neuroophthalmology consultation at the University Hospital Zurich. In 2023, he was awarded the title of specialist in ophthalmology. In 2024, he completed a fellowship at the renowned Royal Children Hospital in Melbourne with a focus on pediatric ophthalmology.
