About me

My name is Denise Beck, and I am pleased to give you an insight into my professional career and the philosophy of our practice.

During my training as a resident and senior physician in gynecology and obstetrics, which I completed both in large university hospitals and smaller, family-oriented clinics, I was able to acquire extensive medical knowledge and valuable experience in all areas of women’s health. In 2011, I obtained my specialist title as well as the subspecialty in Operative Gynecology and Obstetrics.

In 2013, I began to specialize in senology, a field particularly close to my heart. Over the following seven years, I worked primarily as a breast surgeon and senologist at the Breast Center of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (KSA). This period not only provided me with in-depth knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases but also the opportunity to work closely with an interdisciplinary team, which was an enrichment both medically and personally. In the last four years, I headed the interdisciplinary Breast Center at Wetzikon Hospital. This role highlighted to me the importance of holistic and individualized patient care.

My goal is to offer you comprehensive and compassionate care in our practice, whether it be in gynecological prevention, counseling and treatment of gynecological diseases, or the management of breast conditions. We place great value on creating a trusting atmosphere where you feel comfortable and well cared for.

Career

Denise Beck is an experienced specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a particular focus on operative gynecology and senology. Her professional journey began with her medical studies at the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, which she completed in 2001. She subsequently gained valuable experience as a resident in various hospitals, including Cantonal Hospital Walenstadt, District Hospital Männedorf, and GZO Hospital Wetzikon.

After obtaining her specialist title in 2011, she further specialized in operative gynecology and obstetrics. In 2013, she focused more on senology, a field she is particularly passionate about. During her seven years at the Breast Center of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau, she deepened her expertise in diagnosing and treating breast diseases while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team.

From 2020, she took over the management of the interdisciplinary Breast Center at Wetzikon Hospital, where she further internalized the importance of holistic and individualized patient care. Alongside her clinical work, she served as president of the Senosuisse association (2021–2024), promoting the advancement of senology in Switzerland.

Today, Denise Beck co-manages the Seeblick Medical Practice with Dr. Denis Faoro, where she provides care with expertise, empathy, and a holistic approach. Her goal is to support women medically in all phases of life—whether in gynecological prevention, surgical interventions, or breast disease treatment.
