Dr. Klaus Wolf, former head physician of a renowned vein clinic, has many years of specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of leg veins. He is responsible for chronic venous insufficiency/varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, post-thrombotic syndrome, as well as phlebological travel and pregnancy counseling. At the Dermateam practice in Winterthur, Dr. Klaus Wolf holds his vein consultation and varicose vein assessments from Monday to Wednesday using duplex sonography (ultrasound), c/w Doppler and LRR (light reflection rheography). Varicose vein surgeries are performed by Dr. Klaus Wolf on an outpatient basis at the Eulach Clinic in Winterthur, while inpatient surgeries take place at the Limmat Clinic in Zurich.

Note: Treatment of cosmetically disturbing superficial varicose veins such as spider veins is not carried out by the vein specialist Dr. Klaus Wolf but by the dermatologists at the Dermateam practice in Winterthur.
