Dr. med. Alex Pellegrino 

Dr. Pellegrino, born in 1967, is head of foot and ankle surgery at the etzelclinic. He studied medicine at the University of Zurich, where he completed his state examination in 1992. From 1993 to 2000 he was a junior doctor in various regional hospitals and worked for 3 years in the trauma surgery department of Winterthur Cantonal Hospital before becoming senior physician in Locarno in 2000. In 2002, Dr. Pellegrino moved to Lachen Hospital, where he worked as a senior physician until 2006. During this time, he completed numerous training courses and fellowships abroad, becoming one of the pioneers and experts in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery in Switzerland.
