Dr. med. Christoph Sternberg 

Dr. Sternberg, born in 1974, is head of the elbow surgery department and, together with Dr. Leuzinger, is also responsible for shoulder surgery at the etzelclinic. He completed his medical studies in 2002 at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Charite. After a short period of surgical work in Germany, he moved to Switzerland in 2003 to work at the renowned Schulthess Clinic in Zurich. After extensive training in orthopaedics and trauma surgery, he became a senior physician at Baden Cantonal Hospital in 2007. He has been a permanent member of the medical team and partner of etzelclinic since 2010. In addition to his involvement in scientific lectures and publications, Dr. Sternberg was also active as a sports physician in the care of first division ice hockey clubs (NL A) in Switzerland and at the 2009 Ice Hockey World Championships.
