Sandra Loureiro - Physiotherapist and acupuncturist

Sandra Loureiro is an ASCA-accredited physiotherapist who has been practicing for over 26 years. She guides her patients through a treatment program focused on musculoskeletal system function and overall well-being.

Physiotherapy aims to prevent, assess and treat muscle, joint and postural disorders. It relies in particular on manual techniques, such as therapeutic massage, to restore body balance, improve mobility and reduce tension.

Along the way, Sandra Loureiro also trained in traditional Chinese medicine. She became an acupuncturist in 2022 and now integrates this complementary approach into her practice. Acupuncture involves stimulating specific points on the body to promote energy balance and support natural self-regulation mechanisms.

Her knowledge is complemented by Reiki, an energetic approach to relaxation and harmonization, and by ongoing training in Tui Na, a therapeutic massage derived from Chinese medicine.
