Dr. Valentine Luzuy-Guarnero

Dr. Valentine Luzuy-Guarnero is a senior physician and FMH specialist in visceral and endocrine surgery.

Visceral surgery treats disorders of the internal organs of the abdomen (stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, etc.), while endocrine surgery focuses on hormonal glands such as the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. These disciplines enable the surgical management of benign or malignant pathologies, in coordination with other medical specialties.

A medical graduate fromLausanne University, Dr Luzuy-Guarnero began her training in visceral surgery at the CHUV, before joining theEHC as head of clinic. She then continued her academic training at CHUV, before completing a fellowship in endocrine surgery in Geneva. Having passed theAdvanced Examination in Visceral Surgery, she has extensive experience in general, visceral and endocrine surgery.

Today, she focuses her practice on endocrine surgery, with particular expertise in the management of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal pathologies. Dr Luzuy-Guarnero practices in the General Surgery Department at Morges Hospital and at NEDOL Medical Center.
