Ms Jacqueline Sigg

Jacqueline is an FSP recognised clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who has been living in Switzerland since 2021. Her academic and personal journey across Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Melbourne, together with her Swiss-Mexican heritage, has shaped her transcultural and intersectional approach to psychotherapy. 

Her work is grounded in systemic narrative therapy and informed by a somatic approach, with the option of integrating visual arts when this feels meaningful. She is particularly passionate about supporting young people, adults, and couples through experiences of migration, depression, anxiety, life transitions such as motherhood or menopause, as well as grief related to death, divorce, infertility, illness, that affect the sense of self and personal agency. In her work, Jacqueline pays particular attention to the ways in which social expectations, individualism, and cultural patterns can affect the people she works with, supporting them in rewriting their stories in ways that align with their skills, intentions, values, hopes, and preferred ways of living.

Jacqueline is honoured to be part of the Gaia team, whose multicultural and integrative vision of health strongly resonates with her own professional and ethical values. She offers psychotherapy in English, French, Spanish and German.
