WELCOME to the Center for Spinal Surgery and Pain Therapy in the Basel region

The spine is the axial skeleton - the supporting structure of the body that enables us to walk upright. A change or injury to the spine can have a major impact on our everyday lives.

With a holistic approach, we place the patient at the center of our work.

We are a team of experienced spinal surgeons who cover the entire spectrum of spinal surgery. We also offer infiltrative assessment and treatment of spinal pathologies.

We work closely with referring physicians, physiotherapists and multidisciplinary disciplines to define an individual treatment plan for you.

In the vast majority of cases, surgery is not necessary. However, there are clinical pictures where conservative therapy is inadequate or surgical treatment is beneficial. If an operation is necessary, we will perform it in one of our partner hospitals.
