Hôpital ophtalmique Jules-Gonin 

The Fondation Asile des aveugles, founded in Lausanne in 1843, brings together several structures dedicated to visual health and support for people with visual impairments. More than 600 staff members are on hand every day to provide diagnostic, treatment and follow-up services.

The site includes theJules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, a university ophthalmology department renowned for its treatment of eye diseases, as well as a research center specializing in the study of vision disorders. The complex also includes the Centre pédagogique pour élèves handicapés de la vue (CPHV), a social service, rehabilitation and low vision, as well as theClair-Soleil medico-social establishment, providing continuity of care and support.

This multidisciplinary environment offers centralized access to a wide range of eye health-related services, from medical consultations to educational and social support.
