Dr. Charitonidi a complété ses études en Médecine en 2010. En tant qu'étudiante, elle a été choisie pour réaliser une partie de sa formation en Suède (Université de Göteborg), aux Etats-Unis (Boston Medical Center) et en France (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1).
Elle a obtenu son diplôme de médecin en 2010. La même année, elle a débuté sa formation post-graduée en Psychiatrie et Psychothérapie au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois. Elle a poursuivi son cursus aux Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, et en 2014 elle a été promue à la fonction de cheffe de clinique. En 2016, elle a obtenu le grade de Docteur en Médecine à la Faculté de Biologie et de Médecine de l'Université de Lausanne, sous la direction du Prof. J.-B. Daeppen.
Suite à l'obtention du titre de spécialiste FMH en 2017, elle a été nommée médecin cadre supérieur aux Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève. En 2018, elle a enrichi sa formation continue avec l’obtention d’une Maîtrise en Sciences (MSc, Politique de la santé et dossier médical informatisé, avec accent en télémédecine). A part sa pratique privée, elle exerce également en tant que médecin-conseil pour l’état de Vaud.

Dr. Charitonidi graduated Medical School in 2010. During her studies she was offered multiple scholarships which allowed her to complete the clinical part of her studies in the Medical School of the University of Göteborg in Sweden, in the Boston Medical Center at the USA and in the Medical School of the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France.
She started her internship as a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist in 2010 in the University Hospital of the Canton of Vaud in Switzerland. She continued her training in the University Hospital of the Canton of Geneva in Switzerland, where she was promoted to the function of a Specialist Registrar. In 2016 she obtained her Doctorate degree from the Department of Medicine and Biology of the University of Lausanne, under the supervision of Professor J.-B. Daeppen.
In 2017, after completing her medical training (FMH), she was awarded the title of Consultant Doctor in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, and was promoted to the same function at the University Hospital of Geneva.
In 2018 she continued her medical training by obtaining her Masters degree (MSc) in the subject of e-Health Policies and Digital Patient Record including a spécialisation in Télémedicine.
Currently, she maintains a private practice in Geneva and she is also employed as an expert consultant by the Canton of Vaud.
