### Présentation du professionnel de santé
Le Dr Andrea Maccari est médecin spécialiste FMH en ophtalmologie, avec une expertise particulière dans le diagnostic et le traitement des pathologies de la rétine.
Il a suivi sa formation spécialisée en ophtalmologie en Suisse, d'abord à Lugano à l'Hôpital italien, puis à Genève aux Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève (HUG), où il a acquis une solide expérience clinique.
Après avoir obtenu le titre de spécialiste FMH en ophtalmologie, il a effectué un stage au service de rétine de l'hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild à Paris, centre de référence international pour les pathologies rétiniennes, où il s'est particulièrement intéressé à la prise en charge des maculopathies et des maladies vasculaires de la rétine.
Depuis novembre 2024, il est de retour au Tessin, où il travaille comme ophtalmologue et spécialiste de la rétine à la Clinique Avanti. Il s'occupe du diagnostic et du traitement des principales pathologies oculaires, pratique la chirurgie de la cataracte et effectue des injections intravitréennes, garantissant ainsi à ses patients des soins à la pointe de la technologie.
