A medical graduate from Lausanne University, she began her training in visceral surgery at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). After an initial experience as a clinical supervisor at the Ensemble hospitalier de la Côte (EHC), she continued her training in a university setting at the CHUV before completing a fellowship in endocrine surgery in Geneva. She holds a post-graduate diploma in visceral surgery, and has extensive experience in general, visceral and endocrine surgery.
Today, she focuses on endocrine surgery, specializing in benign and malignant pathologies of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. She accompanies her patients throughout their care, from pre-operative assessment to post-operative follow-up, in collaboration with the various specialists involved in their care.
Dr. Luzuy-Guarnero works in the General Surgery Department at Morges Hospital, as well as at the NEDOL Medical Center, where she sees patients for specialized consultations in visceral and endocrine surgery.
