I come from the Himalayan Annapurna mountain range above Pokhara, Nepal. My interests include mountain survival, Himalayan flora and fauna, permaculture, snake welfare and Ayurvedic healing techniques. Massage has been part of my life since early childhood, living in a community where babies are massaged daily with mustard oil and children often massage parents and grandparents to show filial love. I have also travelled extensively in India and studied massage and yoga in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. Over the past five years I have coordinated six health camps in earthquake affected areas of Nepal as part of the association Nepal Pain Relief, administering over 300 hours of massage. I have a diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, and Holistic Massage from the London School of Massage. In my treatments I combine this with my long-term knowledge of Ayurvedic massage techniques and deep tissue stimulation of acupressure points.
