Dr. med. David Schrembs

A specialist in surgery with a focus on general and visceral surgery, he is a certified surgeon for robotic surgery and specializes in abdominal wall hernias, laser varicose vein surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques (keyhole surgery) and proctology. Dr. David Schrembs grew up in a German-French-speaking environment in Munich, where he completed his doctorate at the Technical University. He has lived in Switzerland since 2011, where he completed his specialist training in surgery at the cantonal hospitals of Baden and Baselland in Liestal and Bruderholz and gained several years of experience as a senior consultant in vascular and visceral surgery. In 2021, he was awarded a fellowship in bariatric surgery by the Swiss Society of Visceral Surgery SGVC. Before joining Espace Chirurgie, he worked for two years as a senior consultant at Tiefenauspital in Bern.
