### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr. Aline Sedda is an FMH specialist in general internal medicine. She assists patients in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, offering comprehensive and coordinated care for their health.
With a solid background in internal medicine and hospital emergency medicine, she is involved in the assessment of a wide range of medical situations, the monitoring of chronic diseases, health check-ups and the management of complex medical problems requiring a multidisciplinary approach.
Dr. Sedda completed part of her postgraduate training at the Hôpital de Morges, where she acquired in-depth knowledge of hospital operations and community medicine. She also worked as a clinical head in the General Internal Medicine and Emergency Department of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), developing recognized expertise in the management of hospitalized patients and urgent medical situations.
Since July 2017, she has held the position of Chief Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine at the Ensemble hospitalier de la Côte (EHC). Alongside her clinical activities, she is actively involved in the postgraduate training of doctors, contributing to the transmission of knowledge and the mentoring of future generations of healthcare professionals.
