- Somatic consultation for neurodiverse individuals - ADD/ADHD, autism, high potential, sensitive and emotional hypersensitivity, etc. Please note that the prescription of medication for the treatment of ADD/ADHD is reserved for psychiatrists. Therefore, if this prescription is indicated in your case, I will refer you to a psychiatrist colleague who specializes in this pathology.
What is the reason for this consultation?
In the course of my professional and personal career, I have accumulated both scientific and human experience in the mobilization of healing/adaptation resources. I've found that the resources that have helped me and my patients relate to our diversity and its interaction with our environment in the broadest sense of the term. Professional background:
Being of Romanian origin, I obtained my medical degree in Bucharest in October 1996. After graduating, I went on to do a Research Fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Geneva in 1997, where, a few years later, I obtained my Doctorate in Medicine. Post-graduate clinical training took place at the HUG from 1999 to 2010. Initially as an assistant doctor in training in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine and Therapeutic Teaching, then, as head of clinic, in Ambulatory Care, Emergencies and the Migrant Health Program. The FMH title in Internal Medicine was obtained in 2009.
From October 2010 until October 2023, I practiced as an attending physician in my own practice, having had the immense pleasure of accompanying the 1400 people who have placed their trust in me.
A complicated herniated disc prevented me from taking on the long hours in a static position required to fulfill the noble role of attending physician. I had to free up my patients and let them find another doctor who was more available than I could be right now. A great lesson in humility and a great lesson in life.
What motivates me to continue the care relationship, in this schedule adapted to my health, is the motivation to continue to serve the community with the scientific and human skills at my disposal, in the best conditions for everyone.
