I was impressed by how quickly blood pressure and heart rate regulated when I offered a calming wash to patients in the intensive care unit who were often unconscious. These experiences made me curious. *"In the constant interaction with people who were on the threshold between life and death, I reflected on the meaning of life at a young age and wanted to accompany people over a longer period of time and support them in leading a healthy, meaningful life."* This is exactly what I found in the complementary therapy method of Shiatsu. It offers me a well-founded knowledge that enables me to see and meet people in their entirety. I regularly attend further training courses to expand my specialist knowledge and now have access to a wide range of methods. I am currently attending further training in Somatic Experiencing, which gives me the opportunity to take a conscious look at the nervous system and to accompany people in my practice in a trauma-sensitive way. ## On a personal level Spending time in nature - in the forest, at the lake or in the mountains - is a special source of strength and balance for me. Dancing is a great passion of mine. My element is water; I love dancing in and under water. Singing and playing the harmonium give me great pleasure.
