__IOKAI-Certified Shiatsu Therapist__
A graduate of the IOKAI School, I am a certified Shiatsu therapist and am available to see you in Marnand or at your home, whichever is more convenient for you.
As I continue to build my client base, I offer affordable rates while guaranteeing you professional, caring, and high-quality care. I am __ASCA- and RME-accredited,__ which means many supplemental health __insurance__ plans will cover my sessions; please check with your insurance provider for details.
__What is Shiatsu?__
Shiatsu is a Japanese manual therapy technique performed __while fully clothed, on the floor on a futon__ —or while seated, if you prefer—that applies pressure to specific points on the body to restore balance, thereby rebalancing vital energy and promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, and is particularly beneficial for people experiencing tension, fatigue, stress, or chronic discomfort.
The term “shiatsu” literally means “finger pressure.”
__My Approach__
My four-year training taught me to listen to the body as a whole__. I complement shiatsu with my expertise in therapeutic yoga and Hatha yoga__ (certified yoga teacher since 2021, yoga therapy since 2023), __as well as my training as a breathwork coach__, to provide support that addresses the body, breath, and consciousness.
I have a special sensitivity toward:
- __Neuroatypical__ individuals (ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysorthography)—having these diagnoses myself, I understand the daily challenges from the inside and welcome you without judgment, at your own pace
- People who are __overweight or have mobility challenges__
- __People who are stressed or experiencing burnout__
- __Pregnant women__ (prenatal yoga)
- Anyone wishing to gently take care of themselves
I also offer __chair yoga__, accessible to everyone.

Because I’m passionate about what I do, and everyone I work with receives sincere, personalized attention. My own journey—which includes a bypass surgery in 2022 and a diagnosis of ADHD/ASD as an adult—has made me deeply aware of the challenges of the body and personal transformation.
