__Therapeutic Shiatsu – Shin-Tai__
A Holistic Approach to the Body and the Nervous System
As a federally certified Shiatsu therapist recognized by ASCA and RME, I have been helping people suffering from stress, physical pain, and deep fatigue for over 20 years.
Shiatsu is a Japanese manual therapy inspired by traditional Chinese medicine.
Through precise pressure applied to the meridians, the treatment promotes both deep relaxation and the restoration of the flow of vital energy (Ki).
It aims to boost vitality and support lasting well-being on the physical, emotional, and mental levels.
__The treatment aims to:__
• provide lasting relief from physical and nervous tension
• regulate the nervous system
• improve sleep and recovery
• support the body’s natural balancing abilities
__Common reasons:__
• chronic pain (back, neck, shoulders)
• stress, anxiety, burnout
• Severe fatigue and mental overload
• sleep disorders
• digestive or hormonal imbalances
• Support during periods of transition, recovery, or pregnancy
My approach also incorporates Shin-Tai, fascial work, craniosacral techniques, aromatherapy, and EFT, enriched by several years of teaching professional Shiatsu.
As a result, each session is tailored to the individual. My work is grounded in attentive listening to the body and extensive clinical experience, allowing me to tailor the treatment to each person’s specific needs.
Shiatsu is also suitable for people new to bodywork or those experiencing significant stress.
We always set aside time for discussion at the beginning of each session to tailor the treatment to your current needs.
