It also supports healing processes after an accident or illness and generally contributes to good health. It is often very effective in treating the following symptoms: __Physical issues__ - headaches and migraines - back, neck, and shoulder pain - gastrointestinal and digestive disorders - chronic and acute physical conditions without medical cause - menstrual disorders __Psychological issues__ - burnout, depression, trauma - nervousness, sleep disorders, anxiety - eating disorders - exhaustion and chronic fatigue __Transformational processes__ - healing and rehabilitation after an accident or illness - pregnancy and postnatal support - menopause Shiatsu is a complementary therapeutic method that works on the body, mind, and spirit, placing the overall recovery of the human being at the center of the process. Shiatsu originates from Japan and means *“finger pressure.”* Through gentle pressure, stretching, and rotations, Shiatsu stimulates the body’s natural self-healing powers and harmonizes the energy flow within the organism.
