### Presentation of the healthcare professional
My name is Elise Heinz, and I am a reflexology therapist.
I completed my training at the École Réflexe Santé in Morges and regularly pursue continuing education to deepen my knowledge and enrich my approach.
Foot reflexology is at the heart of my practice. Used for millennia in various traditions, reflexology is based on the manual stimulation of reflex zones (areas that, according to reflexology mapping, correspond to different parts of the body). It is a holistic approach that supports the body’s natural self-regulatory mechanisms and can foster a better understanding of oneself and one’s own resources.
I complement foot reflexology with various methods and techniques for which I have completed specialized training, including:
- Lymphatic drainage through reflexology
- Support for pregnant women, including assistance with childbirth preparation
- Reflexology for infants and young children
- Ear reflexology, having completed a course with Dr. Nogier
- Knap points
This list is not exhaustive. Other reflexology methods and techniques, as well as targeted treatments, may also be offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on each individual’s needs and circumstances.
A consultation is an integral part of the treatment. It allows us to take your situation and expectations into account so that we can define the session’s goals together and tailor the treatment accordingly.
Reflexology can be offered both to promote deep relaxation and a return to calm, as well as within a targeted therapeutic approach, depending on specific conditions or needs. It can provide support during periods of intense stress, fatigue, or challenging situations, but it can also be part of a preventive approach, complement physical activity, or simply offer a moment to take care of yourself and your well-being.
It can also support a person before, during, or after medical treatment, when appropriate for their situation. In such cases, it is integrated into the care plan as a complement to conventional medicine, without replacing medical supervision.
I welcome you to my private practice, in a calm and pleasant setting.
