### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr Thierry Molteni is an FMH specialist in radiology. He uses his expertise to diagnose, screen and monitor a wide range of pathologies using a variety of medical imaging techniques, with a particular focus on women's and abdominal imaging.
A native of Ticino, he obtained his federal medical diploma from the University of Lausanne (UNIL) in 2013, before continuing his postgraduate training in radiology at several establishments in French-speaking Switzerland, including Hôpital de Fribourg, Hôpital de Neuchâtel and Hôpital de Morges. He obtained his FMH specialist title in radiology in 2021.
During his career, Dr Molteni has developed advanced expertise in breast imaging and senology. He plays an active role in the Breast Center's screening, diagnosis and follow-up of breast pathologies. This specialization was reinforced by the award of the Swiss Diploma in Senology in 2023.
He also has in-depth expertise in digestive and abdominal imaging. He holds an inter-university diploma in digestive imaging from the University of Angers, as well as the ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) Level I European Certificate in Digestive Imaging, and is responsible for assessing abdominal pathologies using modern imaging techniques.
With the Hôpital de Morges since 2020, where he worked as an assistant physician and then head of clinic, he was appointed assistant physician in the Radiology Department in July 2024. Keen to complement his medical expertise with management skills, he is also pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies in Health Management at the University of Geneva.
