Ayala Borghini holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Geneva (2008) and has held the federal title of psychologist-psychotherapist since 2013. She trained in Geneva and Lausanne, where she developed recognized expertise in early development, perinatal care andparent-child relationships.

Her training is based on a variety of complementary approaches:

• Sensorimotor approach and assessment of the young child,
• Attachment theory (B. Pierrehumbert),
• Mentalization therapies (Anna Freud Centre, London),
• Interactive guidance and Brazelton scale,
• Bilan sensori-moteur, for which she now coordinates the CAS at the University of Lausanne.

🧠 Professional background

After starting out as a researcher with Prof. F. Ansermet 's team in Lausanne, where she coordinated several perinatal studies conducted by SUPEA in conjunction with CHUV neonatology, Ayala Borghini has enriched her clinical experience with numerous replacements and internships:

• Developmental assessments of school-age and pre-school children (since 1996),
• Liaison clinic in maternity and pediatrics at CHUV,
• Replacement at theDevelopment Unit in Geneva,
• Since 2006, psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapist in private practice in Geneva, working with children, adolescents and adults.

At the same time, she continues to work as a perinatal researcher and teaches at Geneva's Haute École de Travail Social (HETS-HES-SO), in the psychomotricity department, where she conducts research into sensorimotor development and the quality of attachment.
