🧾 Psychotherapeutic sessions (including crisis interventions) are covered by basic health insurance (LAMal), upon medical referral.
Karen Brändle supports her patients through an integrative approach combining psychotherapy and manual therapy. As a licensed psychologist (FSP) and psychotherapist in postgraduate training, she offers psychotherapy with an integrative approach. At the same time, she practices Ortho-Bionomy®, a gentle technique that helps release bodily tension and develop body awareness. Her practice connects body and mind within a holistic perspective of well-being.
## Psychotherapy
Karen’s therapeutic approach integrates several complementary models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness practices. Her goal is to address the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral roots of psychological distress in a meaningful and in-depth manner. She supports adults facing a wide range of challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, adult ADHD, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties.
💻Online consultations are available for psychotherapy and crisis interventions.
## Ortho-Bionomy & Body Awareness
Passionate about the connection between body and mind, Karen has over a decade of experience in Ortho-Bionomy — a gentle, osteopathy-inspired manual therapy that helps release tension and improve body awareness. This effective and non-invasive method is particularly suitable for chronic or acute pain, muscular tension, and postural issues.
Karen has also completed training in structural and cranial osteopathy at the Swiss International College of Osteopathy\*, along with numerous continuing education courses.
