My name is Georgia Schiza, and it is my genuine pleasure to offer to support you in improving your mental, emotional, and relational well-being.

Here is a brief overview of my professional career over the past 20 years as a clinical psychologist in various university hospital departments specializing in psychotherapy and psychiatry for adults and perinatal care in France

I initially specialized in treating adults experiencing emotional difficulties following challenging life events that had a negative and painful impact on their relationships with others, as well as on their romantic and family lives

Supporting a pregnant woman who experienced a major obstetric trauma during psychotherapy led me to pursue further training and subsequently specialize in supporting men, women, and couples facing challenges during the perinatal period, such as: female and male fertility issues, assisted reproductive technology (ART), difficult pregnancies and deliveries, perinatal bereavement, as well as parenting challenges in blended families or co-parenting situations, etc.

For 10 years, I served as the lead psychologist for the mother-baby unit at Lille University Hospital, which was a particularly enriching and fulfilling experience both professionally and personally.

Throughout those years, I also mentored and taught students as well as healthcare and legal professionals on various issues related to relationships, parenting, and perinatal care. I have also participated in various research projects and authored articles.

Armed with this wealth of solid experience and wonderful memories of all the men, women, and babies I’ve had the privilege of supporting, it was with great joy that I joined the team at the Perinatal & Family Center in 2023.

I am now able to offer you personalized, compassionate support—delivered with gentleness and understanding during the difficult times you’ll be going through when you reach out to me—while also providing effective guidance so that you can feel better about yourself and your loved ones.
