My name is Gabriel Morais, and I hold a Master’s degree in psychology from the University of Lausanne. I am currently specializing in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and am a member of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP).

In my work, I place great importance on the connection, active listening, and each person’s individual pace. Since seeking therapy can sometimes be a difficult step, my goal is to welcome you into a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can share what’s weighing on you without judgment.

My approach focuses on taking the time to understand what is causing you distress, what patterns may be repeating in your life, and how certain current challenges might be linked to your personal history, your significant relationships, or your life circumstances.

Through this work, we can work together to better understand what you’re going through, to help you find peace, and to explore paths that allow you to move forward at your own pace. During my early clinical experiences, I had the opportunity to support people facing situations of sexual violence and its psychological repercussions. My experience in prevention work has also led me to address topics such as addiction, mental health, and sexuality. In particular, I have used tools that promote motivation for change to help people clarify their choices, needs, and resources.

Today, I offer counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. Reasons for seeking counseling may include anxiety, relationship or family difficulties, personal questions, self-esteem issues, periods of crisis or grief, symptoms of depression, harassment, and the effects of painful life experiences. You don’t have to wait until the situation becomes unbearable to seek counseling. Sometimes, just a few sessions can help you put what’s happening into words, gain some perspective, and create a little space to think.
