I. Radu Todiraş__ has a broad clinical training in the Swiss healthcare system. He completed his psychotherapeutic training with a focus on __cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)__ and completed it in full. He acquired in-depth expertise in evidence-based diagnostics, structured case conceptualization, disorder-specific interventions and the treatment of complex psychiatric disorders. He also deepened his therapeutic skills through numerous seminars and further training courses in __psychoanalysis__, __dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT)__ and __schema therapy__. As a result, he pursues an integrative, individually adapted treatment approach that takes into account both structure-oriented as well as emotion-focused and depth-psychological elements. He has more than three years of experience in acute psychiatry, including at the Lucerne Psychiatric Clinic and the Psychiatric University Clinic Zurich, where he treated the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders. He also worked in the field of interventional psychiatry and carried out treatments with ketamine, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). A particular focus is the diagnosis and treatment of __ADHD__ in adults, which he deepened in the specialized outpatient clinic of the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich. In addition, Dr. Todiraş worked for twelve months in general medicine and in the field of rehabilitation medicine for paraplegic patients at the Swiss Paraplegic Center Nottwil. Thanks to his wide-ranging training, he combines modern evidence-based psychotherapy with sound clinical psychiatric experience and a holistic medical understanding. __Important information for patients (PLEASE TAKE CARE)__ __Please do NOT use the telephone number of the practice. His practice focuses on the __psychiatric treatment of disorders that require psychotherapeutic consultations as well as specialist psychiatric assessment or drug treatment.__ __Purely psychotherapeutic treatments__ without psychiatric issues are not generally offered. Patients with primarily psychotherapeutic concerns are asked to contact a __psychological psychotherapist__ directly. __Trauma-related disorders:__ Dr. Todiraș provides __psychiatric__ support to patients with trauma-related disorders, especially if medication is required. However, __primarily trauma-focused psychotherapy__ is not carried out in this practice. In such cases, it is recommended to contact specialized trauma therapists. Psychiatric co-treatment is possible if trauma-focused psychotherapy is already being carried out by an appropriate specialist. __Acute psychotic disorders:__ Acute psychotic disorders cannot be treated in the outpatient setting of this practice. Affected patients are asked to contact specialized facilities, for example the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich. Depot medication for psychotic disorders is also not carried out in this practice. __Severe personality disorders:__ Severe personality disorders are not treated in this practice. Affected patients are asked to visit specialized facilities or appropriate psychiatric clinics. __Addiction disorders:__ This practice __does not provide substitution treatment for opiate addiction__. The treatment of __severe dependency disorders caused by other substances__ is also not carried out here. Patients are asked to contact specialized addiction treatment centers. __Psychiatric-social long-term cases:__ Patients who have been __receiving IV support__ for a long time __and require long-term psychiatric-social medical care with repeated or permanent sick notes__ cannot usually be treated in this practice. In such cases, it is recommended to turn to specialized social psychiatric facilities, such as the Center for Social Psychiatry at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich. __Treatment focus of the practice:__ Dr. Todiraș treats in particular patients with - depressive disorders - affective disorders - adjustment disorders - Stress-related illnesses and burnout - ADHD in adulthood Sick notes can be accepted as part of psychiatric treatment. As a rule, we do not __accept sick notes__ that have been issued by other psychiatrists for __a longer period of time__. __Course of treatment:__ The first __one to three sessions__ are used to get to know each other and for a diagnostic assessment. Only then will a joint decision be made as to whether longer-term treatment in this practice is appropriate and possible.
