Dr. Jihed Sehli

Dr Jihed Sehli is a psychiatrist and FMH psychotherapist at the Jolimont practice. He holds a doctorate in medicine (MD) and a Swiss federal post-graduate qualification as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, and provides support for patients with psychological, emotional or relational difficulties that can affect their quality of life.

He specializes in mood disorders and emotional regulation. Consultations may concern symptoms such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, emotional instability, stress, sleep disorders, adjustment difficulties or suffering linked to life events. His approach is based on careful psychiatric assessment, tailored psychotherapeutic support and comprehensive mental health care.

Dr. Sehli also has expertise in interventional psychiatry, including approaches such as transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy and ketamine. These treatments can be part of the management of certain psychiatric disorders, depending on medical assessment and patient needs.

His career path has led him to hold a number of positions within the Réseau Fribourgeois de Santé Mentale, including associate doctor in 2023. There, he headed a unit specializing in mood and personality disorders. He also contributed to the teaching of psychiatry at the University of Fribourg, as well as to research activities led by Prof. Gregor Hasler.

Dr. Sehli currently works as a part-time registered physician at the interventional psychiatry unit of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois in Lausanne. At the Jolimont practice, he offers psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care based on listening, clinical analysis and personalized support.
