Dr. Camenisch has worked as a surgeon at various clinics, including the trauma surgery center at the University Hospital Zurich from 2003 to 2005 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Otmar Trentz. After her first position as senior physician in general surgery, she moved in 2008 to the then internationally renowned Akademikliniken in Stockholm to refine her aesthetic training. There, she worked with Prof. Per Hedén, one of the world’s most renowned breast surgeons. In 2011, she returned to Switzerland to serve as a senior physician in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at the Cantonal Hospital of Thurgau. From autumn 2012 to spring 2017, she worked as a board-certified plastic surgeon at Klinik Pyramide in Zurich, as an independent partner of the Center for Plastic Surgery.
