Prof. Dr. med. Götz A. Giessler is one of the most comprehensively trained plastic surgeons in Europe. He holds German and European board certification and is fully authorized to provide postgraduate training in plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as hand surgery. His many years of training and continuing education are based on various research and clinical fellowships, including at the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard. He is also an invited member of the Alpine Workshop of Plastic Surgery and a member of numerous national and international professional societies.
He devotes himself wholeheartedly—and with all his technical expertise—to finding customized solutions for his patients’ aesthetic and reconstructive needs. You can expect him to provide in-depth knowledge, precise surgical technique, and a sound aesthetic understanding, all backed by honest and transparent communication. As a pilot and longtime mountain rescue physician, openness and communication within a team are very important to him, and he actively embodies these values in his interactions with his patients.
