My Career

I grew up in Bremgarten near Bern, where I completed my schooling and subsequently obtained my Matura in Bern. From an early age, my family environment sparked my interest in medicine and aesthetics, which motivated me to begin my medical studies in Bern in 2007. After successfully passing the state examination and completing my dissertation, I was awarded a doctorate in medicine.

During my studies, I had my first encounters with surgery and dermatology, with dermatosurgery and soft tissue surgery in particular capturing my interest. I deepened this through a two-month internship in the Department of Plastic Surgery in Bern, which confirmed my decision to specialize in plastic surgery. To prepare for specialist training, I took my first position as a physician in a dermatology practice and completed the surgical common trunk.

My specialization in plastic surgery began at Inselspital Bern under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. M. Constantinescu, where I learned a comprehensive range of plastic surgical techniques. After successfully passing the EBOPRAS examination in Brussels and Oxford, I was awarded the FMH specialist title in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

I continued my training in aesthetic surgery and breast surgery with Prof. Dr. med. D. Erni. As deputy senior physician, I further deepened my expertise in the aesthetic consultation clinic and at the Breast Tumor Center of Inselspital Bern in collaboration with Dr. Stengle.

My path then led me to Frauenfeld, where under the direction of PD Dr. med. T. Holzbach I further developed my skills in breast surgery, body contouring and aesthetic facial surgery. In this demanding position, I was able to refine my surgical competencies and manage complex cases, which broadened my professional horizon and further intensified my passion for plastic surgery.

In parallel, I began working at the Centerclinic in 2020, where I am now active as a partner and co-owner. In 2023, we expanded and modernized the clinic facilities to create optimal conditions for innovative treatments and ensure first-class patient care in the long term. In addition to my work at the Centerclinic, I also practice as an affiliated physician at Lindenhofspital Bern and as a consulting physician at the Oberwallis Hospital Center (SZO Visp).

Through continuous training at international congresses, attendance of specialized courses and exchange with colleagues, I keep my knowledge up to date and ensure that my treatment methods meet the highest international quality standards.

Plastic surgery offers the opportunity to combine surgical precision with creative approaches and allows comprehensive patient care. Regular exchange with other medical disciplines is particularly important to me, as it promotes holistic and patient-centered care.
