Amel Ribanovic is an experienced physiotherapist with an international background and specialization in the care of competitive and professional athletes. He completed his physiotherapy training at the Alma Mater Europaea in Slovenia, where he developed his passion for working with athletes at an early age.

His professional career then took him to renowned institutions in Austria and later to the USA. There he gained valuable international experience in coaching top athletes and worked with athletes at the highest level of performance - including NBA star Luka Dončić. After his time in the USA, Amel brought his extensive expertise back to Europe. Today, he combines his international experience with modern evidence-based physiotherapy and cares for both professional athletes and patients in everyday life - always with individually tailored, effective treatment concepts. In addition to his clinical work, Amel was also active in professional tennis and looked after players at ATP tournaments. Thanks to his many years of work in top-class sport, he is a sought-after specialist in sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation and performance optimization. His therapeutic approach combines modern physiotherapy methods with functional training and precise diagnostics. His treatment specialties include manual therapy, TECAR therapy, dry needling and osteopathic techniques.

With the founding of Quantum Physio in Zurich, Amel is bringing his international expertise to the region. His aim is to support both professional athletes and ambitious recreational athletes and patients in their everyday lives in maintaining their health, improving their performance and remaining symptom-free in the long term.
