__Simon Charen is a physical therapist and an Advanced MED Q-certified Spiraldynamik specialist.__ He works at the Spiraldynamik Med Center in Zurich and manages the Spiraldynamik practices in Rapperswil and Wetzikon.

Physical therapy focuses on the treatment and prevention of pain, limited mobility, and functional issues of the musculoskeletal system. Through targeted exercises, movement training, and manual treatment techniques, mobility, strength, coordination, and body awareness—among other things—can be improved.
Before Simon Charen was introduced to Spiraldynamik, he often found everyday movements like walking to be rather uninspiring. By consciously examining his own movement habits, he discovered just how nuanced and versatile even familiar movements can be experienced and shaped.
Spiral Dynamics is an anatomically oriented movement and therapy concept that views the body in its three-dimensional organization. It helps identify movement patterns and improper loading, develop functional movement sequences, and integrate new possibilities into everyday life. Simon Charen guides his patients in recognizing their own physical potential and developing greater ease of movement.
He has many years of professional experience as a medical massage therapist and physical therapist. His expertise in myofascial trigger point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and rhythmic massage complements his work as a physical therapist.
In addition to his work in physical therapy, Simon Charen leads courses in acroyoga, playfight, and combat games, as well as in nonviolent communication according to Marshall Rosenberg. Movement is also an important part of his life in his free time: he enjoys running, swimming, dancing, and hiking in the mountains.
