Professional Background

Graduated from the Haute École de Santé Vaud (HESAV) in 2015, Marie-Charlotte Duc is a physiotherapist passionate about holistic health and women’s well-being. She began her career in a private clinic, where she refined her expertise in the management of musculoskeletal disorders (joint pain, back pain, neck pain, etc.).

Eager to expand her therapeutic skills, she moved to England to pursue advanced acupuncture training while working in the outpatient department of a private hospital in Birmingham. For over three years, she developed strong expertise in orthopedic and rheumatologic rehabilitation, combining scientific precision with a personalized approach to patient care.

Specialization in Pelvic Health and Sexology

Upon returning to Switzerland, Marie-Charlotte chose to specialize in pelvic floor rehabilitation, supporting women with pelvic, perineal, and sexual health issues. Since May 2022, she has been training with the Institut de Pelvi-Périnéologie de Paris, complemented by a sexology module at HESAV (Lausanne).

Her practice focuses on pelvic floor therapy and the rehabilitation of female sexual dysfunctions.

As a member of ASPUG-PP, she continues to train regularly in pelvic health physiotherapy, ensuring an evidence-based and patient-centered approach. Her patients value her gentle, empathetic, and comprehensive care.

Acupuncture and Dry Needling

Holding a Diploma in Acupuncture with distinction (College of Naturopathic Medicine, London, 2018–2021), Marie-Charlotte is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

She practiced acupuncture in England as part of physiotherapy treatment, mainly to relieve acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Trained in Dry Needling, she combines both techniques to reduce pain, relax muscle tension, and improve mobility.
