### Presentation of the healthcare professional
__Maxence Buatois, physiotherapist, sports physiotherapist__, welcomes you to __Espace Voltaire__ for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and functional rehabilitation.
I've been passionate about sport since I was a child, so I've been able to integrate my knowledge into my rehabilitation to make it as effective as possible. I practiced judo (4 years), basketball (4 years), swimming (15 years), table tennis, badminton, tennis, fitness (6 years) and cross fit (2 years). This means I'm at ease with the sporting gesture, and I'll be able to integrate my knowledge into your rehabilitation.
As I wanted to develop my skills in the world of sport, I trained to become a sports physiotherapist, in order to offer my patients the best possible rehabilitation, all based on movement. This training has enabled me to develop my skills in manual therapy, __taping__ and __scraping__.
I use a new and innovative treatment method, approved by numerous scientific studies, based on blood flow restriction. This method is made possible by the use of a __BFR__ (blood flow restriction), which is perfectly suited to various pathologies of the lower limb, such as femoropatellar syndromes (patellar chondropathy), ACL or PCL rupture, knee ligament sprains, meniscus pathologies, and can even be used after certain knee operations.
Today, working with Servette Rugby Club, I have integrated various skills in sports physiotherapy, orthopedics and traumatology. I have also developed my knowledge of field care, validated by the __ICIR (Immediate Care in rugby__) training course in March 2026.
I'm continuing my training to offer you the best possible treatment, for example by starting to specialize in the rehabilitation of __running__ patients and __dry needling__ in 2026.
I also offer __home__ sessions, so you can contact me directly by phone to make an appointment. I also treat post-operative patients and elderly people who have __fallen__.
