Mr Sammi Pevida 

Sammi, a Swiss physical therapist of Spanish origin, brings extensive experience and diverse expertise to the field of physical therapy.

Her professional career reflects her ongoing commitment to physical therapy and continuing education. Since 2016, Sammi has been practicing as an independent physical therapist at the ATC clinic in Fribourg. Prior to that, he served as a lead physical therapist in the Surgery/Orthopedics department at the Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg from 2008 to 2016, demonstrating his expertise in critical areas of physical therapy.

In addition to his clinical practice, Sammi also shared his knowledge as an instructor for the CAS program in the musculoskeletal system at HES-SO2 in Fribourg, thereby contributing to the continuing education of nurses from 2013 to 2018.

Academically, Sammi earned his degree in physical therapy from HES-SO2 (Lausanne) in 2008, after studying at the University of Fribourg in 2003 and 2002. He also earned his Type B high school diploma from the Collège de Ste-Croix in Fribourg in 2001.

Sammi’s athletic career reflects his commitment to the field of sports. He served as a physical therapist for Fribourg Olympic (NLA basketball) from 2016 to 2020, for Villars Basket (NBL basketball) from 2010 to 2013, for BBC Bulle (1st League basketball) from 2008 to 2010, and for Star Lausanne (1st League hockey) from 2005 to 2008.

Sammi has consistently sought to hone her skills through continuing education, covering areas such as osteopathy, visceral kinesiotherapy, myofascial release, kinesio taping, and many others.

A polyglot, Sammi is fluent in French and Spanish, with full professional proficiency in German and English. Her dedication to her profession and her involvement in sports demonstrate her passion for physical therapy and its positive impact on health and well-being.
