### Presentation of the healthcare professional
__Jules Tuerlinckx__, physiotherapist at the __Pôle Santé d'Étagnières__, provides patients with comprehensive, personalized care. The center brings together a number of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated follow-up, tailored to each patient's specific needs.
Physiotherapy is a health discipline that aims to prevent, assess and treat movement disorders and musculoskeletal pain. It is particularly involved in post-injury rehabilitation, improving mobility, strengthening muscles and assisting with the return to daily activities or sports.
A graduate of the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, Jules Tuerlinckx completed his training with a course in sports physiotherapy, while working in his own practice. This dual experience enables him to offer care tailored to the needs of both patients and athletes.
A former member of the national rowing team and currently a trail runner and cyclist, he pays particular attention to the body's requirements, both in the performance phase and during recovery.
His approach is based on :
- active movement
- muscle strengthening
- mobility training
- therapeutic education
The aim is to support each patient towards a gradual and lasting return to activity, taking into account his or her personal goals.
Based in Switzerland, he regularly pursues further training, particularly in the fields of sport, nutrition and dry needling, in order to enrich his practice.
