Through targeted exercises, manual techniques, and movement training, stability, mobility, coordination, and body awareness—among other things—can be improved. Therese Rohner views the human being as an interplay of body, soul, and mind. Since every person functions uniquely and reacts differently to stress, she tailors her physical therapy approach to her patients’ individual symptoms, capabilities, and goals. In doing so, she helps them become more aware of their own bodies and develop new movement strategies. A key focus of her work is Spiraldynamics. This anatomically based movement and therapy concept views the body in its three-dimensional structure. It helps identify movement patterns and improper loading and integrate functional movement sequences into daily life. Her therapeutic experience includes, among other things, medical exercise therapy, manual treatment techniques, trigger point therapy, shoulder therapy, incontinence therapy, as well as body and energy work. Professionally, Therese Rohner has worked in various physical therapy practices and hospitals, including the University Hospital of Jerusalem. She also worked in a rheumatology practice with Dr. J. B. Suter in Bern. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the mountains—both in summer and winter.
