Dr. Nathalie Farpour-Lambert is a pediatrician with over 25 years of experience in the fields of nutrition, physical activity, sports, and the treatment of childhood obesity (including pharmacological treatments such as Wegowy®). For several years, she has contributed to the development of national and international guidelines in these fields, as well as training programs for health, sports, and education professionals. She treats young athletes as well as children and adolescents with obesity, chronic diseases, or disabilities.

She obtained her medical degree in 1994 from the University of Geneva, her FMH specialist diploma in pediatrics in 1999, her certificate of aptitude in sports medicine (SSMS-SEMS) in 2004, and her obesity specialist certificate (EASO) in 2021. She also obtained a Privat Docent title in 2013 from the University of Geneva and a Master's degree in public health in 2017 from the University of London. She completed a micro-MBA in Health Institution Management at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in 2011.

In 2007, she founded and directed the Contrepoids Program, as well as the pediatric sports medicine consultation at the HUG, where she still practices as an associate physician.

Dr. Nathalie Farpour-Lambert was President of the European Task Force on Childhood Obesity from 2015 to 2018, President of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) from 2018 to 2021, and Chair of the Sports Advisory Council of the Canton of Geneva from 2019 to 2024. She is also an expert for the World Health Organization and the European Commission.

She has competed in sports at the national and international level (artistic gymnastics, water skiing, diving) and still plays tennis at the national level. She coaches many young elite athletes.
