Completed pediatric training initially in Rotenburg (Wümme) and Berlin, obtaining the specialist title "Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine" in 2010. Subsequent advanced training in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital, Zurich, specialist title "pediatric cardiology" 2016. PhD thesis from the University of Zurich in 2011 under Prof. Frey/Prof. Sennhauser on the topic of treatment safety in pediatric intensive care units. Long-term senior physician experience in the intensive care/neonatology unit of the Children's Hospital Zurich with a focus on - Care of children with heart disease before and after heart surgery - Care of outpatients and inpatients with chronic heart failure before and after heart transplantation - Care of children with cardiac arrhythmias and pacemakers ​Due to specialized training in newborns and premature infants, there is a particular interest in cardiological problems in these patients.
