It is very important to us that you feel comfortable with us. ## What is osteopathy Osteopathy is a holistic form of medicine. It is based on a detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology, meaning the body is considered in terms of its structural and functional connections. This includes: - the musculoskeletal system with its bones, muscles and joints, - the connective tissue with its blood and lymphatic vessels, - the nervous system, - the internal organs. Health is characterised by free and optimal mobility within the systems mentioned above. Where movement is restricted, tension or illness can arise. Osteopathy can detect and resolve such restrictions in mobility.
