__Daniel Altherr__, a CDS-certified osteopath __recognized__ by __the RME__ and __all Swiss complementary health insurance companies__, practices __structural, cranial and visceral osteopathy__ based on a __holistic__ approach to the body. His aim: to __find the cause of functional disorders__ in order to restore each patient's natural health and balance.
## A holistic approach to health
The osteopathy practised by M. Altherr is based on a complete vision of the human being__(body, mind and spirit)__ integrated into its environmentwhere __structure and function__ are closely __interconnected__.
Each consultation aims to :
- Identify and correct __mobility restrictions__
- Stimulate the __body's capacity for self-regulation__
- Promote __fluid circulation of energies and body fluids__
This approach is suitable for __all ages__: from __newborns__ to the __elderly__, __from elite athletes__ to anyone wishing to improve their overall balance.

Osteopathy can be applied to a wide range of functional disorders, including :

- __CDS diploma__, validating the intercantonal osteopathy examination
- Equivalent __Master of Science HES in Osteopathy (MSc HES)__
- Full training at the__Swiss School of Osteopathy in Belmont-sur-Lausanne (E.S.O.)__, over 6 years
- Official permits to practice in the __cantons of Vaud__ (since 2005) __and Bern__ (since 2007)
- In addition to professional training, between 30 and 50 hours of continuing education each year.
