Experience
In her practice, Sophie uses both gentle manual techniques and high-velocity, low-amplitude (HVLA) adjustments, allowing her to tailor treatments to each individual—children, adults, athletes, and seniors alike.
Alongside her clinical work, she serves as a practical course assistant at the University of Applied Sciences in Fribourg, where engaging with new student cohorts fosters ongoing self-reflection and professional development.
Education
Sophie graduated in 2020 from the second cohort of the Master’s program in Osteopathy at the University of Applied Sciences Fribourg (HES-SO). Her clinical training included internships in group practices, emergency osteopathy clinics, and at the CHUV (Lausanne University Hospital), where she gained experience in multimodal care.
Naturally inquisitive, she regularly pursues continuing education to refine her skills and provide highly personalized treatments.
From early on, Sophie developed a strong interest in urogynecology and pelvic-perineal care, still relatively underrepresented in osteopathy. She is now trained to manage conditions such as menstrual pain, incontinence, pain during intercourse, endometriosis, as well as pregnancy and postpartum care and fertility support (e.g., IVF journeys).
