Mr Nicholas Marcer 

Nicholas Marcer has 35 years of osteopathic experience.

As well as being an osteopath in his own practice, Nicholas has been teaching various aspects of osteopathy for over 30 years.

After graduating from the prestigious European School of Osteopathy in England, his long professional career as both an osteopath and an international lecturer has taken him to most European countries, the USA and Russia.

Before moving from the UK to Switzerland in 1999, he was a lecturer in anatomy, sports clinic director at the European School of Osteopathy and international examiner at a number of osteopathic schools.

In 2000, his work with Dr Waldburger, former head of the rheumatology department at Fribourg Cantonal Hospital, paved the way for important regulatory changes for osteopaths in Switzerland.

He also marked the beginning of the work that led to the creation of the five-year Master of Science in Osteopathy, currently offered at the Fribourg University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches visceral anatomy.
