We are pleased that you are interested in us. Our team consists of Vitor and Johanna. We are located in the heart of Bern, in the Kirchenfeld district.  Vitor uses __Classical Osteopathy as his baseline treatment approach.__ The Institute of Classical Osteopathy describes it as follows: __“Classical Osteopathy__ brings a traditional view to the profession, it is not based on manipulation but on integration through Body Adjustment, and this is why we see Osteopathy as a form of art, as well as a science enhanced by a philosophy that helps us to understand the organism, the way it works and compensates.” (ICO) Vitor also integrates elements of structural and functional treatment approaches. Hereby, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia are examined and treated for movement restrictions. Vitor is registered with the EMR, ASCA and EGK and is __not Visana recognised.__  __Currently,Vitor offers osteopathy sessions only in English and Portuguese, but not in German__.Vitor is working diligently on his German language skills and will hopefully soon be able to offer appointments in German. A treatment lasts between 45-60 minutes and the payment is based on the 5 min tariff for osteopaths and therefore depends on the exact duration of the treatment. The cost therefore varies and is usually between CHF 90-160). If you have supplementary insurance, it will usually cover a proportion of the costs. Please contact your supplementary insurance in advance for more detailed information on reimbursement. Appointments can be cancelled or postponed __up to 24 hours__ before the scheduled appointment, otherwise I ask for your understanding that they will be charged.
