Eckart Nitzschke studied medicine in Düsseldorf. Further training as a specialist in orthopaedics at the Orthopaedic University Clinic in Bochum. Areas of research and specialization: Arthroscopic surgery, conservative and surgical treatment of the spine, pain therapy, osteoporosis. During this time, 20 scientific publications and book contributions. Numerous lectures at scientific congresses and head of numerous arthroscopy courses for doctors. The increasing interest in further possibilities of conservative therapy, especially for chronic pain patients, led Eckart Nitzschke to Spiraldynamik®

Eckart Nitzschke is the father of four now grown-up children. Sporting interests: Formerly water polo, now fitness training with a focus on indoor cycling (spinning).

• KV recognition as a pain therapist since 1998
• AGA instructor for arthroscopic surgery since 1987
• 1993 - 2015 Joint surgical practice in Constance with Dr. Kiera, then with Dr. Schimanski, most recently as a solo practice
• 1982 - 1993 Dr. Nitzschke worked for a total of eleven years at the Orthopaedic University Clinic in Bochum under Prof. J. Krämer, five years of which as a senior physician. There he completed his training as a specialist in orthopaedics. Focus: surgical and conservative treatment of degenerative diseases of the spine; further development of arthroscopic surgery of all large joints; most recently head of the department for arthroscopic surgery. During this time, he was involved in student training and worked as a lecturer at the School of Physiotherapy
• 1980 - 1982 Assistant doctor in surgery and trauma surgery at Marienhospital Düsseldorf under Prof. W. Stock
• 1980 Doctorate in biomathematics under Prof. H. J. Jesdinsky "Methodology in multicenter therapy studies"
• 1973 - 1980 Studied medicine at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, during this time also working as a student assistant in anatomy, neuroanatomy and biomathematics
