Dr Filippo-Franco Schiapparelli is an FMH specialist in __orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.__ He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal problems in adults: joint pain, muscle and tendon injuries, sprains, fractures, instabilities, axis disorders, wear and tear/cartilage, as well as clinical assessments and imaging interpretations (X-rays, MRI, CT scans) to establish a precise diagnosis based on your situation.
He also offers __sports medicine__ consultations for amateur and competitive athletes, including injury assessment, prevention, support in returning to sport and performance optimization.
As part of his practice, he also performs __targeted infiltrations__ (intra-articular, peri-tendinous or intramuscular) with tailored approaches to relieve pain and promote functional recovery when indicated.

Dr Schiapparelli is a SIM Certified Expert and a medical graduate of the University of Genoa (2014). He completed his orthopedic and traumatological training in several hospitals in Switzerland, before obtaining his specialist title in 2023.
