### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr. Anaïs Luyet is an FMH specialist in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, with a specialization in spine surgery. She treats spinal pathologies, whether degenerative, traumatic or requiring specialized surgical evaluation, offering personalized support at every stage of treatment.
With a doctorate in medicine, she did most of her training in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology at the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) and the établissements hospitaliers du Nord vaudois (eHnv), before obtaining her FMH qualification. Wishing to deepen her expertise in spinal column disorders, she continued her training with a two-year fellowship in spinal surgery at the Inselspital in Berne. This specialized training enabled her to develop advanced skills in the treatment of traumatic and degenerative spinal pathologies.
Dr. Luyet treats a wide range of spinal conditions, including herniated discs, spinal canal stenosis, chronic neck and back pain, spinal deformities and certain traumatic injuries requiring surgical management. Her approach is to propose the most appropriate therapeutic solutions, giving priority to a comprehensive, individualized assessment of each situation.
Originally from the canton of Vaud, she joined the Spine Unit of the Ensemble hospitalier de la Côte (EHC) in 2022, and qualified as a specialist in spine surgery the same year. She works closely with the specialist team in the spinal unit and also offers specialist consultations at Morges Hospital and the Groupement Hospitalier de l'Ouest Lémanique (GHOL) in Nyon.
