## Dr. med. Ivo Schuster
"All conservative treatment options should be exhausted before surgical treatment. Spiral Dynamics offers a holistic concept that is suitable for everyday use to optimize movement sequences, reduce stress peaks and thus improve quality of life."
Ivo Schuster studied medicine in Freiburg and Innsbruck. Training and further training as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at Thun Hospital, Bad Säckingen Clinic, Basel University Hospital and Rheinfelden District Hospital. Areas of research and interest: Biomechanics of the elbow joint, distal humerus fractures, osteoporosis, angular stable and anatomically preformed fixation options on the distal humerus. His wide-ranging training includes general and special trauma surgery, arthroscopic procedures, conservative and surgical treatment of the spine and the broad spectrum of pain therapy. His increasing interest in the functional interrelationships of the musculoskeletal system from a holistic perspective led Ivo Schuster to Spiraldynamik®: a targeted analysis of movement and problems opens up new possibilities for conservative therapy.
Ivo Schuster is married and has two children. Sporting interests: Formerly handball in a club, climbing, skiing and snowboarding, windsurfing; today road cycling, mountain biking, volleyball, windsurfing, skiing, cross-country skiing and "Spiraldynamik".
